WARNING: Some things in this post may offend some people...

...and may make other people laugh, so here they are, the further adventures of the Boo-ray for Beaverwood escapades:

First Mr Beaver as a new nemesis for Dr. Who, an alien who constantly recreates his own head, sending them into the universe to send mirth to as many worlds as possible:

A greatly awaited new X-File episodic film, "Mystery of the Poop Spooks"

Don't say I didn't warn you!!!

And Mr. Beaver created a birthday card for me that I share next:

So now we're all caught up, but soon there will be more, but I cannot promise that they will be in better taste, because at present, this is the way we roll!

Love you always sweeties, Gabrielle xxx

Anyone who needs one, have one!

Happy Easter
Happy Spring
Happy, happy Everything!

Just what you asked for---More fun with Mr. Beaver

So belated was Mr. Beaver's Xmas gift from me that he and his girls (Sophie and Fiona) just got them the day after Easter and have made a fabulous fashion show---

Sophie's coat fit her lovely---

(Her Nickname is "Porkrind")

But Fiona's turned a bit cape-like when she tried hers on---

...reminding me of a boxer in his robe before a bout

(Her Nickname is "Chicklet")

"Oh, err...is that my sister?"

"Hmmm, smells like her"

I also made Mr Beaver a snood (infinity scarf) and he found a few different ways to wear it...as a snood:

As a hat---

or a boob tube---

the mind boggles

Our Easter cards for each other were somewhat naughty for the season...mine for him

and his for me

And finally, the continuing saga that is Boor-ray for Beaverwood, with an homage to "The Longest Yard"

Happy Springtime little chickens!

Having fun with THE Mr. Beaver

My friend and I have been practising our photoshop skills by playing with images from holy cards with our faces on them--well, he started it!
Evil St. Me by Mr B, becomes my new profile picture of course
In turn I have transformed his image into random saints

This is my kind of fun so I've erupted with an on-going series entitled "Boo-ray for Beaverwood" featuring Mr. Beaver

Our Logo, you know, like for branding the series (Mr. B is Marilyn Monroe and Fay Raye while I am the model for King Kong)
Ode* to the Sacha Baron Cohen's motion picture, "Bruno".  (Ode* is an elaborately structured poem praising or glorifying an event or individual, describing nature intellectually as well as emotionally.) Here James is cast as the Pink Man from San Francisco as an enthusiastic extra in the film.

Next came the far too expected take-off of "Mommy Dearest" as le Beaver becomes Joan Crawford who is slightly more upset about something other than wire hangers
The latest in the series...

Oh and I made this cardigan for my godson too, it's a great pattern to work with

Until next time, sweet peas!

Valentine sachets for special ladies

In these first months of 2014 I've had occasion to be looked after by four really lovely nurses. For Valentines day I decided to make them sachets in the shape of hearts to thank them for the amazing care they are giving me.

Here's how they came out.  If you'd like a pattern to knit them too, let me know & I will send it to you.

(You can see my soft kitty slippers peeking in at the bottom of the last picture)

Happy days to you!
